These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, consultations, appointments, and purchases made with Mane Tailor, whether booked online or in-salon. By booking an appointment or purchasing products or services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Consultations

  • All appointments and consultations must be booked in advance.

  • Consultation and booking fees are charged for professional time and expertise and are non-refundable.

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during consultations.

2. Booking Fees, Payments & Pricing

  • A non-refundable booking fee is required for all appointments and will be deducted from the final service balance.

  • Full payment is required on or before completion of the appointment.

  • Prices are subject to change; confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

  • A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling within 72 hours will result in loss of the booking fee.

  • Booking fees for hair extension or hair system services are non-refundable in all circumstances.

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full payment in advance for future bookings.

  • Failure to attend an appointment without contact may result in removal from our booking system.

4. Lateness

  • Please notify us as soon as possible if you expect to be late.

  • A grace period of up to 15 minutes may be allowed where possible.

  • Arrivals over 20 minutes late may result in cancellation, with booking fees retained.

5. Appointment Time Adjustments

While we always aim to honour your original booking time, there may be occasions where alternative appointment times are offered. This may occur due to operational requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Staff availability or changes

  • Adjustments to the salon schedule

  • Quieter trading periods where appointments may be consolidated

Where possible, we will contact you in advance to discuss any proposed changes and offer a suitable alternative. Any adjustments will be made with care to minimise disruption while maintaining the quality of service provided.

6. Hair Systems, Hair Extensions & Bespoke Orders

  • All hair systems and extensions are bespoke, hygiene-sensitive products.

  • Natural variations in colour, texture, density, and length may occur.

  • Once hair has been ordered, fitted, cut, coloured, or worn, it cannot be cancelled or refunded except where deemed faulty under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Aftercare Responsibility

  • Clients are strongly advised to use our recommended aftercare products.

  • We are not responsible for damage or faults caused by incorrect aftercare, unsuitable products, heat damage, chemical exposure, or lifestyle factors.

  • Issues arising from poor aftercare are not eligible for refunds.

8. Holiday & Environmental Factors

  • We cannot be held responsible for damage, deterioration, or colour changes caused by holidays, travel, climate, water quality, sun exposure, or environmental factors.

  • By purchasing new hair before travel, you accept the risks associated with these factors.

9. Services Performed by Other Salons

  • We accept no responsibility for issues arising if extensions or systems are cut, adjusted, removed, or refitted by another salon or individual.

  • Any corrective work required will be chargeable.

10. Results & Expectations

  • Results vary based on hair type, scalp condition, lifestyle, and aftercare.

  • No guarantees are given beyond professional standards of care and workmanship.

11. Client Conduct

  • Rude, disrespectful, or intimidating behaviour toward staff will not be tolerated.

  • Our team includes professionals at different stages of experience and training.

  • Concerns should be raised politely during the appointment to allow resolution.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate appointments where conduct is unacceptable.

12. Photography & Content

  • Photography or video may be taken with separate consent for progress tracking, training, or marketing.

  • Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

13. Liability

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

  • Liability is limited to the cost of the service or product provided.

14. Returns & Refunds

  • All returns and faulty item claims are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
