Washing
Mesh Integration (Silk & Lace Closures)
Mesh integration systems require extra care due to the delicate silk or lace closure. Wash maximum twice a week.
Step-by-step:
Always brush gently before washing to remove tangles
Use lukewarm water only
Shampoo twice and condition once
Cleanse the system gently by using downward smoothing action — do not scrub or rub the closure
Allow the water and shampoo to flow through the system naturally
Rinse thoroughly and rinse again, taking your time
Apply conditioner to mid-lengths and ends only
Avoid conditioner, masks, or oils on the closure or mesh
Rinse thoroughly and finish with slightly cooler water
⚠️ Be aware scrubbing or overloading the closure can weaken knots and reduce lifespan.

Shower Water & Filtration
(Highly Recommended)
Water quality plays an important role in the condition and lifespan of fitted hair, hair systems, wigs and toppers. Hard water, chlorine, and mineral build-up can leave the hair feeling dry, dull, coated, or difficult to manage over time.
For best long-lasting results, we strongly recommend using a shower filter at home.
Why This Helps
Reduces chlorine, limescale, and mineral build-up
Helps prevent dryness and colour dulling
Improves softness, manageability, and shine
Supports the longevity of silk, lace, mesh, and system bases
Many clients notice an immediate improvement in how their hair feels and behaves once a filter is installed.
Our Advice
A shower filter is a simple addition that can make a significant difference to your hair’s condition particularly if you live in a hard-water area or travel frequently.
